AJ Fernandez Bellas Artes Toro

Dear Reader...
First time that I am writing a review about AJ Fernandez, because so far I haven't had much contact with this brand. The Bellas Artes line has convinced me so much that I will definitely try more Aj fernandez cigars in the future. The art, the box, the wrapper — everything here is flawless.
When I took the cigar out of the box the smell was very subtle... but after a few minutes it got stronger (very interesting). The smell notes are: Creamy chocolate, cinnamon spices, nuttiness, and some citrus fruit like orange zest or grapefruit. Lovely...

First third:Once lit, the Bellas Artes requires no time to warm up as it immediately begins pouring out flavorful smoke. There is a lot of depth to the flavors making it difficult for me to pinpoint any specific ones. There is a central woodsy flavor that is complimented by several different spices and a light caramel. At an inch in, a grape-jelly like flavor arrives in the profile adding a new dimension to the sweetness. The flavors are well balanced and full through the first third. A dark gray, ugly ash is forming as the burns evenly with a thick carbon line.
In the middle third the the cigar gets a little stronger but still medium body. The sweet notes become more recognizable, it is definitely caramel chocolate like "mars" and the spices goes more in the pepper way. The transformation is really beneficial.
The last third is like always for me the best part of every cigar. Allowing more rest and the cigar to cool between draws, the earlier flavors shine through. As I pass the smoke through my sinuses, the pepper and spice are full and I am beginning to feel a good amount of strength....
Smoking a Bellas Artes cigar will undeniably be one of the highlights of your day...
Cheers
